When I first came to see Lida, I was struggling with the after effects of multiple fad diets and years of weight loss and gain. At that point, it was less about my weight and more about how I felt—my energy level was very low, my joints and feet ached constantly, and I routinely struggled with blood sugar crashes and associated emotional eating. So many different diets had left me very confused about what foods I could and/or should eat— there were too many “bad” foods and I didn’t think I liked the “good” foods— I just felt like I was living an unhealthy life.

Lida has helped me to completely change how I look at food. In a totally non-judgmental and fact-based approach, she’s worked with me to develop tailored nutritional guardrails and accountability that have helped me conquer my body aches and carbohydrate cravings. Nothing is “bad” or off limits, but she has taught me to weigh my choices with the knowledge of the food’s effect on my body. I have so much more energy and perhaps most-importantly, the ability to enjoy all foods with a more-moderate and self-loving approach.
